A vintage Carl Erskine Nokona Model Glove signed by members of the 1959 Los Angeles Dodgers, World Series champions.
In the pocket of the glove there is an inscription to a fan stating it is from the 1959 team. The outer parts are the mitt are decorated with (22) Dodger signatures in period blue ballpoint. Walt Alston, Don Drysdale, Sandy Koufax, Pee Wee Reese, Gil Hodges, Duke Snider, Furillo, Moon, Gilliam and many more!
The signatures are accompanied by a Beckett LOA.
The classic ball glove comes in its original orange Nokona box with Erskine pictured on the top and sides. The box exhibits heavy wear (mostly the back panel) and is not in one piece. Nokona is a leather goods company based in Nokona, Texas, making its first baseball gloves in 1934.
