Circa 1950 Red Rolfe Single Signed Baseball.Despite a decade of service in the Bronx (1931-42) and four more years at the managerial helm of the Detroit Tigers (1949-51), Rolfe remains a daunting challenge to collectors of single signed baseballs. It was Rolfe who shouldered the weight of the loss of Lou Gehrig in 1939, recording 213 hits with forty-six doubles and fourteen home runs for the World Champs.
